Job Title: Consultant Radiologist – Full-Time

Location: Velamadam, Nagercoil (Kanyakumari District)
Hospital: Gerdi Gutperle Agasthiyar Muni Children and Maternity Hospital

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Consultant Radiologist to join our team on a full-time general shift basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate interpretation of diagnostic imaging studies and providing timely reports to support effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interpret and report various diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, ultrasound, CT, and MRI as applicable.
- Perform and interpret ultrasound examinations as per clinical requirements.
- Provide accurate and timely radiology reports.
- Correlate imaging findings with clinical information and recommend further investigations when appropriate.
- Communicate critical and urgent findings promptly to the treating physicians.
- Collaborate with clinicians, surgeons, obstetricians, paediatricians, and other specialists.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and quality standards.
- Follow appropriate radiation safety and patient-safety practices.
- Stay updated with advances in diagnostic radiology and imaging technology.





Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: MD/DNB in Radiodiagnosis or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Relevant experience in diagnostic radiology preferred.
- Strong expertise in interpreting diagnostic imaging studies.
- Good clinical judgment and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy hospital workplace.

Duty & Compensation:
