The Forklift Driver is responsible for the protected and efficient movement of raw materials, forged components, dies, finished goods, and scrap material within the forging plant. The role ensures uninterrupted material flow between stores, production lines, heat treatment, machining, inspection, and dispatch areas while complying with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate forklifts safely to transport raw materials, billets, dies, forged components, and finished products.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage locations.
- Supply production lines with required materials as per production schedules.
- Transfer hot or finished forgings between manufacturing processes as instructed.
- Stack, arrange, and store materials in designated locations following FIFO requirements.
- Assist in dispatch activities including loading finished goods for shipment.




- Verify material identification, quantity, and documentation before movement.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspection of forklifts and report defects promptly.
- Maintain battery charging, fuel levels, and basic housekeeping of assigned equipment.
- Follow plant safety rules, PPE requirements, and traffic management procedures.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and quality departments for material movement requirements.
- Ensure proper handling to prevent damage to forgings, dies, and equipment.
- Maintain records of material movements as required.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
