- Conduct routine patient rounds and update patient records.
- Provide immediate medical attention in emergency situations.
- Assist in stabilization and preliminary management of critical patients.
- Ensure timely communication with consultants for patient care decisions.
- Monitor and document patient vitals, investigations, and progress.
- Respond promptly to calls from nursing staff regarding patient conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and reports.
- Ensure all clinical protocols and infection control measures are followed.
- Coordinate with other departments (labs, radiology, pharmacy) as needed.
- Participate in code blue/emergency response protocols when required.
