Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated GIS Interns with to support our growing portfolio of geospatial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with GIS tools such as QGIS, ArcGIS, and Google Earth/Maps, along with a solid understanding of land records and property mapping. The role involves integrating cadastral maps, land records, survey data, and other spatial datasets to improve land management, property mapping, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

GIS Mapping

· Digitize cadastral maps, survey plans, and village maps.

· Prepare high-quality maps for land administration, urban planning, and infrastructure projects.

· Georeferencing scanned maps and integrating them with existing GIS datasets.

Land Records Integration

- Integrate cadastral maps with land records such as Property Cards, 7/12 extracts, mutation records, Tippan, and other revenue documents.
- Resolve spatial inconsistencies between survey records and GIS datasets.

Reporting & Presentations

· Prepare detailed GIS reports, maps, and presentations for stakeholders, including clients, government bodies, and internal teams.

Quality Control

· Ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of geospatial data

· and mapping products.

· Perform validation and error checking of spatial datasets.

Client & Team Collaboration





· Work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver GIS solutions that meet both technical and business needs.

Skills and Qualification

· Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geomatics, Geography, Remote Sensing, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.

· Property Mapping and Land Administration: strong understanding of Land Administration Systems, cadastral mapping, parcel management, property registration and mutation processes, land acquisition, surveying principles, coordinate reference systems, georeferencing, map projections, spatial data standards, metadata management, and land use and zoning regulations.

· Civic Use Cases: Familiarity with the application of GIS in government and public sector projects, particularly in India (urban planning, disaster management, infrastructure, public services).

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in spatial analysis, map creation, and data

Visualization. Experience with spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS, GeoDatabase) is a plus.

· Software Tools: Hands-on experience with QGIS, ArcGIS (Desktop, Pro), Google Earth/Maps, and other GIS software. Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R for GIS is an advantage.

· Analytical Skills: Solid ability to analyze complex geospatial data and present insights effectively.

· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction, reporting, and collaboration within the team.

Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
