Job Description:

We are seeking a Java Technical Lead with 10 years of experience to drive the architecture, development, and delivery of high-performing microservice-based backend systems. In this role, you will lead technical decision-making, collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and guide an agile, multinational engineering team in translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

What will your role look like

- Lead the architecture, design, and development of backend RESTful services and stateless microservices.
- Translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions using strong logical reasoning and attention to detail.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Guide the team in database management (MySQL), data mapping, automated testing (JUnit/TDD), and CI/CD best practices.
- Oversee deployment across containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms like Azure.
- Compose transparent, error-free technical documentation, reports, and communications for diverse audiences.

We would like you to bring along

- 10 years of total experience with proven leadership skills and 5–6+ years of hands-on Java backend development (preferably with Kotlin exposure).
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices architecture, and MySQL database technologies.
- Hands-on experience with unit testing (JUnit, TDD), version control, CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitHub Actions), Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to cloud environments (preferably Azure), with nice-to-have knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and Terraform.
- Exceptional logical reasoning, system design capabilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written English communication (minimum B2 level) with strong stakeholder presentation abilities.
- Proactive mindset committed to continuous learning, team collaboration, and self-directed task management.
