Job Summary
Vihas Interiors is hiring a Store Assistant & Reordering In-Charge to handle our complete hardware inventory. You will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and issuing hardware components, as well as tracking stock levels to place timely orders for sufficient hardware so production never halts.
Key Responsibilities
- Hardware Stock Monitoring & Timely Reordering:
- Track daily stock levels of critical hardware (hinges, drawer runners, handles, locks, screws, edgebands, adhesives, connectors).
- Calculate material needs based on active production orders and project requirements.
- Order sufficient hardware stock in advance from approved vendors to ensure seamless, uninterrupted factory production.
- Follow up with vendors to guarantee timely on-site delivery.
Receiving & Unloading:
- Unload incoming hardware shipments and verify delivered quantities and sizes against purchase orders/bills.
- Check for quality, correct specifications, and damage before accepting deliveries.
Storage & Organization:
- Categorize, label, and neatly arrange all hardware items in dedicated racks, bins, and storage units.
- Keep the hardware store room secure, clean, and strictly organized.
- Issuing & Register Maintenance:
- Issue required hardware to production technicians and carpenters based on daily job slips/BOM (Bill of Materials).
- Maintain precise daily inward/outward registers or straightforward Excel/ERP entries.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: 12th, Diploma OR Basic Degree.
Experience: Freshers are welcome.
Key Skills:
- Basic computer/Excel knowledge or willingness to learn.
- Good numerical skills for accurate counting and stock ordering.
- Willingness to reside in company-provided staff accommodation.
Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
