Job Description:

- We are looking for an experienced Backend API Developer to design develop and maintain scalable secure and high performance backend services and APIs
- The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Microservices architecture SQL development ORM frameworks design patterns and modern backend technologies
- The role involves working closely with architects UI developers QA teams DevOps engineers and business stakeholders to build enterprise grade applications

Key Responsibilities:

- Design develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices
- Develop scalable and maintainable backend solutions using industry best practices
- Analyze and enhance existing backend applications including legacy systems
- Review and optimize database queries stored procedures and data access layers
- Collaborate with architects and technical leads on application design and solution architecture
- Implement secure reliable and high performing services
- Participate in code reviews technical discussions and sprint activities
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation

Technical Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of backend development experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands on experience in Microservices architecture
- Strong experience in
- NET Core ASP
- NET Core or equivalent backend framework
- Strong knowledge of REST API development and API security
- Extensive experience with SQL Server and database design concepts




- Ability to understand analyze and modernize legacy SQL Stored Procedures and database driven applications
- Robust expertise in query optimization indexing and database performance tuning
- Hands on experience with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework Dapper NHibernate or similar
- Strong understanding and practical implementation of Object Oriented Design Principles and Design Patterns Repository Factory Strategy CQRS Dependency Injection etc
- Experience with Git based source control systems
- Good understanding of CI CD practices and deployment processes

Additional Responsibilities:

- Experience with event driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Kafka RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to Azure AWS or other cloud platforms
- Experience with API Gateways and service orchestration
- Familiarity with logging monitoring and telemetry solutions
- Knowledge of caching technologies such as Redis
- Exposure to AI Generative AI technologies including integration with Large Language Models LLMs and AI powered services
- Understanding of AI application development using platforms such as Azure OpenAI OpenAI APIs Microsoft Copilot Studio Semantic Kernel LangChain or similar frameworks
