Job Purpose
To provide high-quality Physics and General Science education to students, develop conceptual understanding through activity-based learning, foster scientific curiosity, and prepare students for academic excellence while promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities1. Academic Delivery
- Teach Physics and General Science to students of Classes VI–X as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare annual, monthly, weekly, and daily lesson plans.
- Deliver engaging, interactive, and concept-based lessons using contemporary teaching methodologies.
- Integrate experiments, demonstrations, digital tools, and real-life applications into classroom teaching.
- Conduct laboratory sessions while ensuring safety protocols.
2. Student Assessment
- Prepare worksheets, assignments, quizzes, periodic tests, and examination papers.
- Evaluate answer scripts and provide timely feedback.
- Identify slow learners and gifted students and implement suitable academic interventions.
- Maintain assessment records and monitor student progress.
3. Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning workplace.
- Encourage scientific inquiry, teamwork, and creativity.
- Promote active student participation through discussions, projects, and practical activities.
4. Academic Planning
- Ensure timely completion of the syllabus.
- Conduct revision classes, remedial sessions, and doubt-clearing classes.
- Prepare students for school examinations, Olympiads, NTSE, and other science competitions where applicable.
5. Parent & School Communication
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Communicate student progress and recommend improvement strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary learning and academic planning.
6. Co-curricular Responsibilities
- Organize science exhibitions, laboratory activities, STEM projects, and science clubs.
- Mentor students participating in quizzes, innovation challenges, and competitions.
- Support school events, assemblies, and extracurricular programs.
7. Professional Development
- Attend workshops, faculty development programs, and training sessions.
- Stay updated with curriculum changes, educational technology, and innovative teaching practices.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and academic improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. (Physics) or B.Sc. with Physics as a major subject (Mandatory)
- B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- M.Sc. in Physics (Preferred)
- CTET/TET or equivalent qualification (Preferred)
Experience
- 2–5 years of teaching experience in Classes VI–X.
- Experience in CBSE, ICSE, State Board, or international curriculum schools is preferred.
- Experience in handling science laboratories and activity-based learning is desirable.

Working Conditions
- Full-time position.
- Six-day work week (as per school policy).
- Participation in examinations, school events, training programs, and academic planning meetings.
Pay: ₹13,370.83 - ₹49,613.05 per month
