Job Overview

Metro Hardware & Fittings is looking for a responsible and organized Store & Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day store operations, inventory records, sales and purchase entries, supplier coordination, and basic accounts.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in hardware, building materials, sanitaryware, electrical, fittings, retail/wholesale or similar businesses and should be comfortable using MS Excel and basic accounting software such as Tally.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily records of store related work like stock received, stock sold/issued and available inventory
- Track materials that need to be purchased and prepare purchase requirement lists
- Coordinate with suppliers, dealers and vendors for quotations, orders and deliveries
- Follow up on pending purchases and supplier payments
- Check incoming materials against purchase orders/invoices
- Maintain records of sales, purchases, expenses and stock movement




- Prepare and maintain customer and supplier outstanding records
- Handle basic cash, UPI and payment-related records
- Prepare sales bills/invoices and maintain supporting documents
- Update inventory and financial information in MS Excel/Tally or relevant software
- Support day-to-day customer handling and counter sales when required

Requirements

- 12th Pass / Graduate
- 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Experience in a hardware shop, building materials, sanitaryware, electrical, fittings, retail/wholesale or trading business will be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of accounts and bookkeeping, MS Excel
- Knowledge of Tally/Tally Prime preferred

Candidates with experience in hardware, fittings, sanitaryware, electrical or building-material stores will be preferred.
