LifeCare Polyclinic & Home Care Services, Vikaspuri, Current Delhi, is looking for an experienced and dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to join our growing multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Position: Consultant Psychiatrist
Location: Vikaspuri, New Delhi
Engagement: Visiting/Consultant basis
Qualification: MBBS with MD/DNB/DPM in Psychiatry and valid medical registration
Experience: Relevant clinical experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric consultations and clinical assessments.
- Diagnose and manage psychiatric and behavioural health conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans.
- Prescribe and monitor medications appropriately.
- Provide counselling and psychoeducation to patients and caregivers.
- Assess patients for mental-health emergencies and suicide/self-harm risk where clinically indicated.
- Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff,
physiotherapists and other specialists.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
- Provide appropriate referrals to higher centres or other specialists when required.
- Follow applicable clinical, ethical, patient-safety and NABH requirements.
