Position: HMC Setter
Experience: 7–15 Years
Industry: Machining / Manufacturing
Location: Coimbatore

Job Responsibilities

- Set and operate HMC (Horizontal Machining Centre) machines as per production requirements.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T;, and machining specifications.
- Perform machine setting, tool selection, tool offset, work offset, and prove-out.
- Set up fixtures, cutting tools, and workholding arrangements.
- Handle CNC programs and make necessary offset/program corrections.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy using Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Identify and troubleshoot machining, tooling, and setting-related issues.
- Maintain required quality, productivity, and production targets.
- Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure consistent component quality.




- Follow safety procedures, 5S, and company standards.

Required Skills

- Robust experience in HMC machine setting and production.
- Good knowledge of Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, fixtures, and tooling.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.;
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in component manufacturing / precision machining is preferred.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma – Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
