Position: Electrician

Location: Kakkadampoyil Plant
Reporting To: Maintenance/Production Manager

Job Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, motors, pumps, panels, and equipment.
- Perform regular inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical installations and machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in production equipment and attend breakdowns promptly.
- Maintain and repair electrical control panels, starters, contactors, relays, MCBs, MCCBs, and related components.
- Handle electrical wiring, cable laying, termination, and connections as required.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems associated with ETP, biofilter, boiler, pumps, compressors, and other plant equipment.
- Ensure proper functioning of lighting, power supply, switches, sockets, and other electrical facilities within the plant.
- Maintain records of electrical maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, and replacement of spare parts.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards.
- Identify potential electrical hazards and take corrective action to prevent accidents and equipment damage.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.




- Assist in installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and machinery.
- Ensure proper housekeeping around electrical panels, machines, and maintenance areas.
- Maintain adequate stock of commonly required electrical spare parts and inform management about requirements.
- Carry out any other electrical maintenance duties assigned by the management.

Qualifications & Skills:

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant experience in industrial electrical maintenance preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of electrical panels, motors, pumps, starters, control systems, and industrial wiring.
- Ability to diagnose and rectify electrical faults independently.
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices is essential.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing/production plant environment.
- Ability to work during emergency breakdowns and, when required, in shifts.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
