We are seeking a dynamic, qualified, and student-focused Faculty Member in Finance to join our academic team. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching postgraduate and undergraduate students, developing their conceptual and practical understanding of finance, mentoring students, and contributing to the overall academic development of the institution.

The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent teaching and communication skills, and the ability to connect financial concepts with real-world business and industry practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality lectures in Finance and related management subjects to MBA and other management students.
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, course materials, presentations, case studies, assignments, and assessments.
- Teach core finance subjects such as Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis, Security Analysis, Portfolio Management, Financial Markets & Institutions, Banking, and related areas.
- Explain complex financial concepts through practical examples, case studies, industry applications, and contemporary business scenarios.
- Conduct classroom discussions, presentations, group activities, simulations, and other student-centric learning activities.
- Mentor and guide students in their academic performance, projects, internships, career development, and professional growth.
- Supervise and evaluate student projects, dissertations, assignments, presentations, and research work.
- Conduct internal assessments, examinations, quizzes,



and other academic evaluation activities.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, assessment results, and other documentation as required.
- Encourage students to participate in seminars, workshops, competitions, conferences, financial literacy activities, and industry-oriented events.
- Assist students in developing practical skills in financial analysis, investment decision-making, financial planning, and business problem-solving.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of teaching-learning practices.
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, faculty development programs, and institutional activities.
- Undertake research, publications, consultancy, and academic projects in the area of Finance, wherever applicable.
- Develop academic and industry linkages that provide students with exposure to current financial practices and career opportunities.
- Support the institution in maintaining high standards of academic quality and student outcomes.
- Perform other academic responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department / Institute Management.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- MBA / M.B.A. in Finance from a recognized university/institution.
- UGC NET / SET qualified OR Ph.D. in Finance / Management / relevant discipline.
- 3–5 years of teaching experience,



preferably in a college, university, or higher education institution.
- Robust command of Finance and Management concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, classroom-management, and mentoring skills.
- Candidates with research publications, FDP participation, academic projects, or industry exposure will be preferred.
