Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering & Maintenance team for our Amusement Park, Snow Storm and Resort operations at Athirappilly, Thrissur, Kerala.

The selected candidate will support the Senior Electrical Engineer and maintenance team in the inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and safe operation of electrical systems and equipment across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Senior Electrical Engineer in day-to-day electrical maintenance activities.
- Conduct routine inspection of electrical equipment, panels and installations as per prescribed checklists.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Assist in attending electrical breakdowns and troubleshooting electrical faults.
- Monitor electrical equipment for abnormal conditions, overheating, noise, sparks, voltage fluctuations or other issues.
- Assist in the maintenance of LT panels, MCC panels, distribution boards, transformers, generators, UPS systems, lighting systems and other electrical installations, as applicable.
- Support maintenance of electrical systems associated with amusement-park and Snow Storm operations.
- Assist in monitoring electrical loads and power distribution.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Instrumentation, MEP and Operations teams during maintenance activities.
- Maintain daily electrical inspection and maintenance records.
- Prepare breakdown reports and communicate electrical issues to the Senior Electrical Engineer.
- Assist in maintaining equipment history and preventive-maintenance records.
- Support checking and maintaining electrical spare parts, tools and consumables.




- Assist in coordinating with vendors and contractors during electrical maintenance and servicing activities.
- Support installation, testing and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
- Assist the electrical team during emergency breakdowns and restoration of electrical systems.
- Ensure proper electrical isolation and safety procedures before maintenance work.
- Immediately report electrical hazards, unsafe conditions or equipment abnormalities to the concerned supervisor.
- Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safe working conditions in electrical rooms and maintenance areas.
- Support energy-saving and electrical-efficiency initiatives.
- Assist electricians and electrical technicians as directed by the Senior Electrical Engineer.
- Prepare and submit required daily/periodic maintenance reports.
- Perform other engineering and maintenance duties assigned by management.

Qualification Required

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Additional technical certification will be an advantage.

Experience Required

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering / Maintenance.
- Experience in Amusement Parks, Theme Parks, Snow Parks, Resorts, Hotels, Hospitality,



Industrial Facilities or similar operations will be preferred.
- Fresh Engineering Graduates with strong technical knowledge and willingness to learn may also be considered.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a technically sound, disciplined and safety-conscious Electrical Engineer with a willingness to learn and develop hands-on electrical maintenance skills.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a tourism, entertainment and high-footfall environment, where electrical safety, equipment reliability and uninterrupted operations are key.

The candidate should be willing to work in shifts, weekends, public holidays and during peak tourist seasons as required by the operation.
