This is a DOOR-TO-DOOR RESEARCH SURVEY job. It is NOT a land surveyor, property surveyor, civil surveyor, GIS, or technical surveying position.

You will visit households/residents, ask them questions using a structured questionnaire, and accurately record their responses using a mobile phone/tablet or paper form.

We are looking for people interested in field research, surveys, public opinion research, social research, community engagement, or political research.

About the Role

We are hiring Survey Enumerators / Field Researchers to conduct face-to-face household surveys across assigned areas in Punjab.

The selected candidates will visit residents, conduct structured interviews, record responses accurately, and follow the research team's instructions and survey protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct door-to-door face-to-face surveys with residents.
- Ask questions from a structured questionnaire.
- Record responses accurately using a mobile phone/tablet.
- Follow survey instructions and maintain a neutral, non-leading approach.
- Ensure collected information is complete and accurate.
- Visit assigned households/areas and achieve daily/weekly survey targets.
- Maintain confidentiality of respondents and collected information.
- Report field progress and observations to the project supervisor.

Essential Requirements

- Bachelor's degree / Graduation from a recognized university.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Punjabi and working knowledge of English.
- Comfortable speaking with people from different backgrounds.
- Willingness to travel within assigned areas.
- Comfortable working outdoors and visiting households.
- Basic smartphone and data-entry skills.
- Reliable, skilled, and comfortable working independently.

Preferred - Not Mandatory

Candidates with any of the following will be preferred:

- Degree/background in Political Science, Public Policy, Sociology, Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Previous experience in:
- Door-to-door surveys
- Political/public opinion surveys
- Market research
- Social research
- Census/enumeration work
- Field research
- NGO/community surveys
- Understanding of elections, political processes, public opinion, or social research.

ਇਸ ਕੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਘਰ-ਘਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਨੀ, ਇੱਕ ਤਿਆਰ questionnaire ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ/ਟੈਬਲੇਟ ਜਾਂ ਫਾਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਨੇ ਹਨ।

ਮੁੱਖ ਕੰਮ

- ਘਰ-ਘਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ face-to-face survey ਕਰਨਾ।
- ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ questionnaire ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛਣੇ।
- ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਸਹੀ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ mobile/tablet ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਨੇ।
- ਕਿਸੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ neutral ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ survey ਕਰਨਾ।
- ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ area ਵਿੱਚ survey target ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨਾ।
- Respondents ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ confidential ਰੱਖਣਾ।
- Field progress ਦੀ report supervisor ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣੀ।

मुख्य जिम्मेदारियां

- घर-घर जाकर लोगों का face-to-face survey करना।

- बिना किसी पक्षपात के neutral तरीके से survey करना।

जरूरी योग्यता

- किसी मान्यता प्राप्त university से Graduation।
- अच्छी communication और interpersonal skills।
- Punjabi में fluency और English की working knowledge।
- अलग-अलग लोगों से सम्मानपूर्वक बातचीत करने की क्षमता।
- Field में काम करने और assigned areas में travel करने की इच्छा।
- Smartphone और basic data-entry की जानकारी।
