Position: HMC Setter
Experience: 7–15 Years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma – Mechanical
Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering
Location: Coimbatore

Job Responsibilities:

- Set and operate HMC (Horizontal Machining Centre) machines.
- Perform complete job setting as per engineering drawings.
- Set cutting tools, tool offsets, work offsets, and machining parameters.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Carry out first-piece inspection and ensure quality requirements are met.
- Select suitable cutting tools and machining parameters.
- Perform offset corrections during production.
- Handle operations such as milling, drilling, tapping, boring, and reaming.
- Check component dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.
- Monitor tool wear and replace tools when required.
- Identify and troubleshoot machining and setting problems.
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.




- Coordinate with the Quality and Production teams.
- Maintain production and quality records.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.

Required Skills:

- Strong experience in HMC machine setting.
- Good knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls preferred.
- Good knowledge of cutting tools, offsets, and machining parameters.
- Ability to read 2D engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of tolerance and GD&T; is an added advantage.
- Ability to independently handle job setting and troubleshooting.
- Positive problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts.

Experience: 7–15 years of relevant HMC Setter experience.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
