Role - School Laboratory Lead

Department - Academic Support

Designation - Senior Executive/Assistant Manager

Band and Grade - E3/E4

Location - VIBGYOR High, School

Reporting to Vice Principal

Primary Purpose of the Job

The primary purpose of a laboratory in charge is to oversee and manage the operations of a laboratory. They are responsible for ensuring that all activities in the laboratory are conducted safely and incompliance with the relevant regulations, protocols, and standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Operational:

· Should abide by the school policies.

· Should carry out and arrange resources for maintenance and repair when required.

· Conduct stock taking and obtaining materials by local purchase.

· Should provide daily assistance in class practical,



ensure laboratory is kept clean and/by disposing of waste materials.

· Should attend and participate in staff meetings and training as appropriate.

Technical:

· Should provide technical support to experienced and trainee teachers including health and safety guidance.

· Carrying out risk assessments for technician activities fortnightly.

· Carrying out health and safety checks on laboratories, prep rooms, and stores

Bachelor of Science.

Years of Experience

Minimum 6 – 8 years of relevant experience

Pay: Up to ₹400,000.00 per year
