Job Overview

Hawa Valves is seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager – Valve Manufacturing to lead and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations for industrial valves serving the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power, Marine, and Process Industries.

The Production Manager will be responsible for complete ownership of the manufacturing lifecycle, including Production Planning, Raw Material Management, Machining, Assembly, Testing, Painting, Packing, Dispatch, Quality Coordination, Inventory Management, Vendor Coordination, ERP Control, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Control

- Prepare and monitor monthly, weekly, and daily production plans.
- Ensure achievement of production and dispatch targets.
- Monitor WIP, capacity utilization, and resource allocation.

Manufacturing Operations

- Oversee Raw Material, Machining, Assembly, Testing, Painting, Packing, and Dispatch activities.
- Ensure production is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and procedures along with Safety norms.
- Optimize machine utilization, manpower productivity, and workflow efficiency.

Quality & Inspection

- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for in-process and final inspections.
- Handle Customer, third-party, and internal inspections.
- Drive NCR, CAPA, root cause analysis, and rejection reduction initiatives.

Inventory & Material Management

- Ensure availability of raw materials and bought-out components.
- Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, and SCM teams.
- Maintain material traceability and inventory control.

ERP & Reporting

- Monitor production through INFOR BAAN LN systems.
- Maintain production MIS, KPI dashboards, and management reports.
- Ensure accurate production and inventory records.

Vendor & Cross-Functional Coordination

- Coordinate with Design, Purchase,



QA/QC, Stores, Sales, OMT, Marketing, and Vendors.
- Monitor subcontracted machining and outside processes.
- Support vendor development and performance improvement activities.

Continuous Improvement

- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and productivity improvement projects.
- Drive cycle-time reduction, cost reduction, and operational excellence initiatives.

Team Leadership & Safety

- Lead Production Engineers, Supervisors, and Operators.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Develop a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 12–15 years of manufacturing experience, mandatorily in the valve industry.
- Minimum 5 years in a Production Manager or similar leadership role.
- Experience managing complete production from Raw Material to Dispatch.

The Production Manager will have complete ownership of production performance, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely delivery of high-quality valves from Raw Material to Final Dispatch.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
