Job Description
1.Operation & Monitoring
- Monitor turbine auxiliary systems (lube oil, seal oil, hydraulic, vacuum, cooling water systems).
- Ensure all auxiliaries operate within prescribed parameters and safety limits.
- Support turbine startup, shutdown, and load variation activities.
- Analyze operational data and identify performance deviations.
2. Maintenance & Reliability
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance of auxiliary equipment.
- Troubleshoot failures in pumps, heat exchangers, filters, valves, and piping systems.
- Coordinate breakdown maintenance and ensure minimal downtime.
- Maintain equipment history and reliability records.
3. System Optimization
- Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and system improvement.
- Investigate issues such as oil contamination, pressure fluctuations, and temperature rise.
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) for system failures or abnormal events.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, operating procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and adherence to permit-to-work (PTW) systems.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain operation logs, maintenance reports, and incident reports.
- Prepare technical reports on system performance and failures.
- Assist in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance procedures development.
6. Coordination & Support
- Work closely with turbine operation team, electrical, instrumentation, and maintenance teams.
- Supervise contractors and ensure quality execution of jobs.
- Participate in shutdown planning and execution.
