Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Printing Production Supervisor for our manufacturing factory at Palghar. The candidate will be responsible for supervising production activities, maintaining quality standards, handling manpower, machine coordination, and ensuring timely production of printed as per GMP and customer requirements.

The candidate should have good knowledge of printing metpet jobs, conversion processes, quality control systems, and production planning in the printing & packaging industry catering mainly to the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities

Production Responsibilities

· Supervise daily production activities.

· Ensure production targets are achieved within scheduled timelines.

· Monitor machine performance and coordinate with operators.

· Handle production planning and shift management.

· Reduce production wastage and machine downtime.

· Ensure proper utilization of manpower and materials.

· Coordinate Pre-press, Cutting, Printing, Varnishing, Lamination, Punching, Pasting, and Packing departments.

· Maintain daily production reports and machine efficiency records.

· Ensure compliance with SOPs and GMP requirements.

Quality Control Responsibilities

· Check incoming, in-process, and final product quality.

· Ensure Products meet customer specifications and standards.

· Monitor colour consistency, barcode quality, dimensions, embossing, foiling, and finishing quality.

· Handle rejection analysis and corrective actions.

· Coordinate with QC team for audits and documentation.





· Maintain quality inspection records and reports.

· Ensure cleanliness and quality compliance in production areas.

Machine & Process Knowledge

Candidate should have knowledge of:

· Printing Machine with Interdeck UV for Metpet Jobs

· Cutting Machine

· Punching Machine

· Lamination Machine

· Pasting Machine

· Foiling & Embossing Process

· UV / Aqueous Coating Process

· Packing & Dispatch Process

Required Skills

· Strong leadership and manpower handling skills

· Good knowledge of pharma packaging standards

· Understanding of Printing and Manufacturing process

· Problem-solving and decision-making ability

· Knowledge of production planning and quality systems

· Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Production Reports)

Qualification

· Diploma / Graduate in Printing Technology, Packaging .

· Additional certification in Quality Control will be preferred.

Experience

· Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in manufacturing industry.

· Experience in handling production or quality control department is mandatory.

Salary

· Rs 30000 to Rs 40000

· Factory-based job at Palghar.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
