Accountant – Job Description

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Pune

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 1–5 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain books of accounts and record daily financial transactions.
- Prepare and verify vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment entries.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare GST returns, TDS returns, and ensure statutory compliance.
- Process payroll and maintain employee salary records.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, Profit & Loss statements, and Balance Sheets.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and inventory records.
- Ensure timely vendor and customer payment reconciliations.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.

Eligibility

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
- 1–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.

Required Skills





- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime, MS Excel, and ERP software.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Software Knowledge

- Tally Prime
- MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Basic Formulas)

Weekly off: Sunday

Interview Days: Monday to Saturday
