Position Overview

A experienced and dynamic Shipbuilding Project Manager is required to oversee a critical 4-month shipbuilding project based in Mangalore, India. Upon successful completion of this initial phase, high-performing candidates will have the opportunity to transfer long-term to the company's branch in Dubai, UAE.

The role involves leading cross-functional teams, overseeing vessel construction/refit milestones, managing client expectations, and ensuring adherence to international maritime safety and classification standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Project Execution & Planning: Manage the full project lifecycle for vessel build/refit activities in Mangalore from mobilization to dry-docking and final handover.
- In office Management: Lead daily shipyard operations,



vendor management, sub-contractors, and engineering teams to keep deliverables on schedule and within budget.
- Standards & Compliance: Ensure all construction and repair works comply with Classification Society rules (e.g., ABS, DNV, IRS, Lloyd's Register) and local shipyard safety standards.
- Budget & Resource Allocation: Monitor project financials, track material procurement, minimize downtime, and control operational expenditures.
- Client & Stakeholder Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for ship owners, class surveyors, sub-contractors, and senior executive management.
- Transition Preparation: Coordinate project closeout documentation and handover protocols in Mangalore ahead of potential relocation to the Dubai operations team.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
