Job Title: Product Developer (Sampling & Development)

Department: Product Development

Experience: 2–5 years in product development (soft home / toys preferred)

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Product Developer to execute product development within the

sampling room. This role is responsible for translating designs and techpacks into physical

samples, ensuring accuracy, quality, and commercial viability.

Key Responsibilities

● Execute end-to-end sample development in the sampling room

● Interpret and implement techpacks, sketches, and design briefs accurately

● Work closely with PD Head and Design team to bring concepts to life

● Select and work with fabrics, trims, fillings, and accessories

● Ensure correct construction, stitching, finishing, and detailing of samples

● Solve development challenges related to construction, fit, and materials

● Optimize samples for cost, scalability, and production feasibility

● Coordinate with tailors, karigars, and sampling team for execution

● Maintain sample timelines and ensure on-time completion

● Ensure samples are aligned with buyer expectations and quality standards





Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

● Sample accuracy vs techpack/design

● Sampling turnaround time (TAT)

● First-time approval rate of samples

● Development issue resolution speed

● Cost efficiency and production feasibility

Skills & Qualifications

● Strong experience in product development / sampling (soft home / toys)

● Good understanding of fabrics, materials, and construction techniques

● Ability to read and execute techpacks precisely

● Hands-on experience working with sampling teams / karigars

● Strong problem-solving skills in development stage

● Attention to detail and quality
