Nesavu is a growing Indian kidswear brand with multiple retail stores and an active online business. Our accounts team plays a key role in keeping day-to-day operations smooth and compliant.
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support routine accounting work and coordination.
Role Overview
This role handles day-to-day accounting entries, basic compliance support, and coordination with internal teams and consultants. Accuracy and consistency are very important.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Entries
- Daily entries in accounting software (Tally / ERP / Excel)
- Sales, purchase, expense, and payment entries
- Bank entries and basic bank reconciliation
- Maintain vouchers and supporting documents
Billing & Documentation
- Verify sales bills, purchase invoices, and credit notes
- Maintain proper filing (digital & physical)
- Assist with inter-branch billing and reconciliations
Compliance Support
- Support GST data preparation (sales, purchases, returns)
- Coordinate with CA / accounts head for filings
- Maintain basic statutory records
Coordination
- Coordinate with stores, warehouse, and admin teams
- Follow up on pending bills, documents, and approvals
- Prepare basic reports as required
Required Skills
Must Have
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience or exposure to Tally / ERP
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Tamil speaking mandatory, basic English reading/writing
Valuable to Have
- GST basics knowledge
- Retail / textile / multi-store accounting experience
- Prior coordination with CA firms
Experience
- 0–3 years
- (Freshers with accounting background can apply)
