Manager – Import Pricing

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Manager – Import Pricing to manage import freight pricing, overseas agent coordination, shipping line negotiations, and operational support.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of import freight pricing, ocean freight, shipping line tariffs, Bill of Lading documentation, container movement, overseas freight forwarding agents, and freight forwarding networks. The candidate should also possess solid commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and established industry contacts.

- Manage Import Pricing for FCL/LCL shipments and provide competitive freight quotations to customers.
- Obtain and negotiate ocean freight rates, local charges, destination charges, and other applicable costs with shipping lines, overseas agents, and freight forwarders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, overseas agents, and freight forwarding partners.
- Coordinate with worldwide agents for import rates, shipment handling, documentation, and destination services.
- Maintain updated knowledge of freight forwarding networks, overseas agents,



and prominent freight forwarders operating in India and globally.
- Analyze market rates and competitor pricing to ensure competitive and commercially viable quotations.
- Prepare accurate and timely Import Freight Quotations based on customer requirements.
- Understand and verify Bill of Lading (B/L), House B/L, Master B/L, Arrival Notice, Delivery Order and other import documentation.
- Coordinate with the operations and documentation teams to ensure smooth movement of import shipments.
- Track container movement, vessel schedules, ETA/ETD, transshipment details and shipment status.
- Monitor import shipments and proactively resolve operational or documentation-related issues.
- Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, overseas agents, transporters, CHA/customs teams and other stakeholders.
- Maintain records of freight rates, customer quotations, agent rates, shipping line contracts and commercial terms.
- Follow up on pending quotations and support conversion of business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong network of international freight forwarding agents and logistics partners.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
