Job Description

Site Execution & Supervision

- Supervise construction activities such as:
- RCC structures
- Clarifiers
- Filter beds
- Pump houses
- Reservoirs
- Pipe trenches
- Administrative buildings

- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor daily site progress and manpower productivity.

2. Surveying & Layout

- Conduct site layout and leveling work.
- Coordinate with survey teams for:
- Grid marking
- Alignment
- Elevation checks
- Structure positioning

3. Quality Control

- Ensure compliance with project quality standards.
- Check:
- Concrete quality
- Reinforcement placement
- Shuttering/formwork
- Waterproofing
- Material testing

- Coordinate with QA/QC engineers and laboratories.

4. Billing & Quantity Estimation

- Prepare:
- BOQ verification
- Quantity calculations
- Running bills (RA Bills)
- Material reconciliation

- Maintain DPR (Daily Progress Report) and work records.

5. Coordination

- Coordinate with:
- Mechanical engineers
- Electrical engineers
- Piping teams
- Consultants
- Clients
- Contractors

- Resolve site execution issues.

6. Safety & Compliance

- Follow construction safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with:
- Environmental norms




- Municipal/water authority regulations
- Project specifications

7. Documentation

- Maintain:
- Inspection records
- Checklists
- Test reports
- As-built drawings
- Site reports

Key Skills Required

- Knowledge of RCC and structural works
- Understanding of water retaining structures
- AutoCAD reading skills
- BOQ and estimation
- MS Excel & project reporting
- Knowledge of IS codes
- Site management and coordination
