Job Description – EHS Officer

Job Overview

We are looking for an EHS Officer to ensure a safe working environment by monitoring plant safety, conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and supporting compliance with EHS procedures and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct routine inspections of EHS equipment, emergency systems, and safety facilities.
- Conduct regular Safety Rounds across the plant and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
- Monitor FOC/ETO operations and ensure adherence to prescribed safety procedures.
- Observe and monitor process safety during manufacturing operations.
- Identify hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety procedures.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety awareness programs, and emergency drills.
- Support investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain EHS inspection reports, checklists, incident records, and other safety documentation.




- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, QA, and other departments for effective implementation of safety measures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable EHS policies, SOPs, and statutory requirements.

Qualification & Experience

- Education: Any Graduate with ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) certification.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in EHS/Safety, preferably in API, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or Manufacturing industries.
- Positive knowledge of industrial safety, process safety, PPE, emergency response, work permits, and hazard identification.
- Good communication, observation, coordination, and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of EHS documentation and statutory compliance.
- Ability to conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Proactive approach towards workplace safety and risk prevention.

Pay: Up to ₹200,000.00 per year
