About the Role

We are looking for a Purchase & Stores Executive who understands purchasing and is comfortable dealing with suppliers, checking materials and working in the market.

The person should have a basic understanding of measurements, quantities, material requirements and pricing and should be ready to coordinate with suppliers and project sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Purchase materials as per project and factory requirements
- Take quotations from different suppliers and compare prices
- Negotiate with suppliers for better prices and payment terms
- Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery
- Maintain purchase orders and supplier records
- Check and maintain stock at the factory and project sites
- Arrange dispatch of materials to sites
- Coordinate with transporters for deliveries
- Keep proper records of materials received and dispatched
- Coordinate with Accounts, Sales and Project teams
- Track leftover materials from sites and arrange return or reuse
- Make sure materials are available when required

These responsibilities are based on the company's Procurement & Stores SOP.

What We Are Looking For





- 2-5 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement / Stores
- Good understanding of materials, measurements and quantities
- Good knowledge of local suppliers and markets
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Should be comfortable visiting suppliers and markets when required
- Should be able to understand material requirements and purchase accordingly
- Good knowledge of Excel and computer work
- Should be organised and good at follow-ups

⭐ Preferred

Candidates from the same or similar industry will be preferred.

Experience in flooring, construction, interiors, building materials, sports infrastructure or related industries will be an advantage.

Someone who already understands materials, measurements, purchasing and the market will be preferred.

Someone who can understand what is required, find the right supplier, negotiate the right price and make sure the material reaches where it is needed on time.
