Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fabric Manager to oversee fabric planning, procurement, quality, and availability for home textile production. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in yarn, weaving, fabric construction, processing, and dyeing, ensuring timely fabric availability while meeting quality and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and monitor fabric requirements based on production schedules.
- Coordinate with Yarn, Weaving, Processing, Production, Purchase, and Merchandising teams.
- Ensure fabric quality, GSM, width, shade, and specifications meet standards.
- Monitor fabric stock, consumption, wastage, and supplier performance.
- Identify and resolve fabric quality issues and production delays.
- Maintain fabric records, reports,



and technical documentation.

Requirements

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Textile Manufacturing, Textile Chemistry, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in textile manufacturing, preferably in home textiles.
- Robust knowledge of yarn, weaving, fabric construction, dyeing, and processing.
- Good understanding of GSM, EPI/PPI, shrinkage, fabric inspection, and quality standards.
- Strong planning, coordination, reporting, and supplier management skills.

Preferred Candidates: Home textile manufacturing/export background. Candidates from Karur and nearby textile hubs are encouraged to apply.
