Host & Waitress – Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for delivering a warm, professional, and personalized guest experience from arrival to departure. The role combines front-of-house hosting and table service responsibilities, including guest reception, reservations, seating, order taking, food and beverage service, and ensuring high standards of hospitality throughout the dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome, greet, and professionally engage guests upon arrival.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, seating arrangements, and table allocation efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus while explaining restaurant concepts, specials, and recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, and dietary requirements.
- Provide attentive and personalized table service while ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to requests or concerns.




- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues to the supervisor or manager when required.
- Identify opportunities for suggestive selling and upselling of food and beverage items.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, host team, and management to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and proper table setup throughout the service.
- Assist with table clearing, resetting, and maintaining overall dining area standards.
- Process guest bills and payments accurately when required.
- Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and high standards of service at all times.
- Ensure all restaurant policies, hygiene standards, and service procedures are consistently followed.
- Assist with special occasions, VIP guests, and personalized guest requests to create memorable dining experiences.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
