Job Summary

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong expertise in Advanced Microsoft Excel to support business decision-making through accurate reporting, data analysis, dashboards, and actionable insights.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with large datasets, preparing complex MIS reports, identifying business trends, and presenting data in a clear and meaningful manner to management.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, organize, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Develop and maintain management dashboards and performance reports.
- Analyze sales, revenue, expenses, incentives, targets, achievements, and other business performance data.
- Identify trends, gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities through data analysis.
- Generate actionable insights to support business and management decisions.
- Track and report departmental KPIs and performance metrics.
- Automate repetitive reports and reduce manual reporting processes.
- Perform data reconciliation and ensure accuracy of all reports.
- Handle large volumes of data and maintain proper data structures.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by management.
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, HR, Operations, and other departments to understand reporting requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of accurate reports and dashboards.
- Maintain proper documentation of reports, formulas, data sources, and reporting processes.

Mandatory Skills – Advanced Microsoft Excel

The candidate must have strong hands-on expertise in Advanced Microsoft Excel, including:

- Pivot Tables & Pivot Charts
- XLOOKUP / VLOOKUP / HLOOKUP
- INDEX & MATCH
- SUMIFS / COUNTIFS / AVERAGEIFS
- IF, nested IF & logical functions
- Conditional Formatting




- Data Validation
- Advanced Filtering & Sorting
- Excel Charts & Dashboards
- Data Cleaning & Formatting
- Text & Date Functions
- Excel Tables
- What-If Analysis
- Basic Excel automation / Macros or VBA will be an added advantage
- Ability to work with large datasets and complex Excel reports

Additional Skills

- Strong knowledge of MIS Reporting and Data Analysis.
- Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of SQL will be preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to convert raw data into meaningful business insights.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple reporting requirements.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, MIS, Business Analytics, or Reporting.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in Sales, Distribution, Retail, Telecom, Electronics, FMCG, or similar industries will be preferred.

Candidate Profile

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
