PawSpace is looking for passionate and skilled Dog Trainers / Canine Trainers to join our growing pet-care network.
If you enjoy working with dogs, understand canine behaviour, and can confidently guide pet parents through the training process, we'd love to hear from you.
We welcome both experienced dog trainers and candidates who have completed professional dog-training courses and are looking to build their careers.
What You'll Do
As a Dog Trainer with PawSpace, you will:
- Conduct dog-training sessions based on the pet's age, temperament, and requirements
- Teach basic obedience commands such as sit, stay, come, down, and heel
- Work on leash walking and general walking behaviour
- Help pet parents with toilet and house-training routines
- Support puppy training and early socialisation
- Address common behavioural concerns such as jumping, excessive barking, pulling, and lack of impulse control
- Understand the dog's behaviour before recommending a training approach
- Create structured training plans for individual dogs
- Track the dog's progress across sessions
- Educate pet parents on practising and reinforcing training at home
- Share regular progress updates with pet parents
- Maintain a safe, patient, and positive environment during training
- Coordinate with the PawSpace team regarding sessions and customer requirements
Who Can Apply?
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have hands-on experience training or handling dogs
- Are confident working with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Understand basic canine behaviour
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Can confidently communicate with and educate pet parents
- Are patient, responsible, and comfortable around dogs
- Can travel to customer locations for training sessions
- Are interested in taking up dog-training assignments through PawSpace
Candidates with professional dog-training experience or recognised dog-training/canine behaviour certifications will be preferred.
