Job Purpose

To support the smooth and efficient operation of the stores by receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Store Associate is responsible for ensuring proper stock control, accurate documentation, and timely availability of materials to various departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and verify incoming materials, supplies, and goods against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Check the quantity, quality, specifications, and condition of received items.
- Properly store and organize materials in designated locations.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper arrangement of the store area.
- Issue materials to various departments based on approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, transfers, and balances.
- Conduct regular physical stock checks and assist with monthly/periodic stocktaking.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excess stock, damaged items, and expiry of products.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO principles wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all stored materials.
- Maintain all required store-related documents and records.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Accounts, Kitchen, Housekeeping, and other departments for material requirements.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food, beverages,



cleaning materials, and other supplies as applicable.
- Report any discrepancies between physical stock and system records to the Store Manager/In-Charge.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and inventory control practices.
- Assist in maintaining an productive and well-organized store operation.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Store Manager or Management.

Skills & Competencies

- Good knowledge of store and inventory procedures.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to work with inventory systems.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to maintain proper records and stock reports.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical ability to handle and move materials safely when required.
- Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and basic stock control practices.

Qualification & Experience

- Minimum qualification: 12th Pass / Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in stores, inventory, warehouse, or hospitality operations is preferred.
- Freshers with a willingness to learn may also be considered.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
