Role Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and responsible Para Vet / Veterinary Assistant to support our veterinary and pet-care operations. The role involves assisting during home visits, performing basic health checks, handling pets safely, and supporting their overall health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians and trainers during home visits and pet-care sessions.
Conduct basic health checks, including temperature, pulse, and general condition.
Assist with medications, injections (if trained), and basic first aid under appropriate supervision.
Handle dogs and other pets safely while minimizing stress and discomfort.
Educate pet parents on basic pet care, hygiene, nutrition, and after-care.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of pets, equipment, and work areas.
Support post-treatment care and follow-ups.
Monitor and report pet health updates or concerns to the internal team.
Requirements
Diploma/Certification in Veterinary Science, Veterinary Assistant training, or Animal Husbandry preferred.
Prior experience as a Para Vet / Veterinary Assistant is an advantage.
Comfortable and confident handling dogs and other domestic pets.
Willingness to travel across Delhi NCR for home visits.
Robust sense of responsibility, empathy, and animal welfare.
