Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, coordinate with vendors, ensure timely material availability, negotiate competitive pricing, and maintain accurate purchase records. The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical, communication, and vendor management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and identify reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Compare quotations and finalize vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Inventory, Accounts, and Operations teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchases accordingly.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor database, and documentation.
- Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, damaged goods, or shortages.
- Track pending purchase orders and update stakeholders regularly.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Prepare purchase reports and MIS for management.
- Support new product sourcing and vendor development.
- Coordinate with the Accounts team for invoice verification and payment processing.

Required Skills

- Robust negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.




- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
- Knowledge of ERP systems is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and purchase orders simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- MBA in Supply Chain/Operations is an added advantage.

Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in Procurement, Purchase, or Supply Chain.
- Experience in an e-commerce, retail, FMCG, or consumer goods company will be preferred.
