Job Overview

Guidance Plus Private Limited is looking for an experienced and motivated Study Abroad Counselor to join our team at Marine Drive, MG Road, and Calicut. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of overseas education and be passionate about guiding students in selecting the right country, university, and course.

Key Responsibilities

- Work as a Study Abroad Counselor and provide professional counseling to students interested in pursuing education overseas.
- Understand students’ academic backgrounds, career goals, financial considerations, and preferred destinations.
- Guide students on suitable countries, universities, courses, admission requirements, and application procedures.
- Provide accurate information on study opportunities in countries such as the UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada, Germany, and other popular destinations.
- Counsel students and parents regarding university selection, eligibility, tuition fees, scholarships, accommodation, and visa requirements.
- Handle student inquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert inquiries into applications and enrollments.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with students throughout the admission process.
- Coordinate with university representatives, internal application teams, and documentation teams.
- Assist students with application documentation and ensure timely submission of applications.




- Maintain accurate records and update student information in the CRM.
- Achieve individual and team targets related to applications, admissions, and enrollments.
- Stay updated on changes in university admissions, courses, scholarships, visa requirements, and study-abroad policies.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents and provide excellent customer service.
- Contribute to seminars, education fairs, webinars, and other student recruitment activities.

Candidate Profile

- Previous experience as a Study Abroad Counselor, Overseas Education Counselor, Student Counselor, or in a similar overseas education role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the overseas education industry and university admission processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills.
- Strong student conversion and follow-up skills.
- Target-oriented and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Good computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Candidates with experience in counseling for UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada, Germany, or other overseas destinations will be preferred.
