Experience: 3years to 5 years
Key Responsibilities:
● Handle real estate and property litigation matters independently
. ● Appear, argue, and conduct matters before the High Court, City Civil Courts, District Courts, Tribunals, and other relevant judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
● Develop and implement litigation strategies in relation to complex property and real estate disputes.
● Advise clients on disputes relating to title, ownership, possession, development agreements, redevelopment, conveyancing, tenancy, lease, easement, acquisition, society disputes, and other property-related issues.
● Handle contentious matters including injunctions, specific performance, recovery, eviction, declaration, partition, possession, cancellation of documents, and other civil remedies.
● Handle and advise on testamentary matters, including probate, letters of administration, succession, wills, estate disputes, and related proceedings.
● Draft, review, vet, and finalize pleadings, plaints, written statements, rejoinders, applications, affidavits, notices, petitions, appeals, written submissions, and legal opinions.
● Provide strategic and commercially sound legal advice to clients on property and real estate disputes and potential litigation risks.
● Draft detailed legal opinions on property, title, redevelopment, conveyancing, cooperative housing society, and society-related issues.
● Conduct and supervise legal research, title/document reviews, due diligence, and analysis of complex property records and agreements.
● Liaise directly with clients, senior counsel, advocates, consultants, court officials, societies, developers,
and other stakeholders.
● Brief and effectively coordinate with Senior Counsel and external advocates, including preparation of briefs, case notes, compilations, and arguments.
● Take ownership of case strategy, hearings, pleadings, filings, evidence, interim applications, and overall matter management.
● Monitor litigation portfolios and ensure timely filings, procedural compliance, limitation requirements, hearing preparation, and follow-ups.
● Supervise, mentor, and guide junior associates and other members of the litigation team.
● Maintain effective case management systems, litigation trackers, hearing schedules, and client reporting.
● Identify potential legal and commercial risks and proactively advise clients and the firm on risk mitigation and dispute resolution strategies.
● Explore and advise on settlement, mediation, negotiation, and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, wherever commercially appropriate.
● Contribute to the development and strengthening of the firm's real estate litigation practice and client relationships.
Qualification & Experience -
● LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
● 3-6 years of post-qualification experience in real estate/property litigation.
● Prior experience appearing before the Bombay High Court, City Civil Court, District Courts, and other relevant forums will be preferred.
● Experience in handling complex property disputes, redevelopment/society disputes, title and possession matters, testamentary proceedings, and real estate-related civil litigation will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
