Nursing Administration
- Plan, organize, and coordinate nursing services throughout the hospital.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Ensure adequate nursing staff are available in all departments.
- Prepare duty rosters and manage staff deployment.
- Staff Supervision
- Supervise nursing officers, staff nurses, and other nursing personnel.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, discipline, and performance.
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback.
- Address staff grievances and workplace issues.
- Patient Care & Quality
- Ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
- Monitor nursing standards and infection-control practices.
- Ensure proper documentation of nursing care.
- Investigate and follow up on patient complaints and adverse incidents.
- Training & Education
- Identify training needs of nursing staff.
- Organize orientation, in-service education, and continuing education programs.
- Support career development and competency assessment.
- Ensure staff are trained in emergency procedures and hospital protocols.
- Coordination
- Coordinate nursing activities with doctors, hospital administration, and other departments.
- Participate in hospital committees such as infection control, quality assurance, and patient safety.
- Communicate important administrative decisions to nursing staff.
- Resources & Equipment
- Ensure adequate availability of medicines, supplies, linen, and nursing equipment.
- Monitor proper use and maintenance of nursing equipment.
- Report shortages, damaged equipment, and other resource requirements.
- Legal & Regulatory Responsibilities
- Ensure nursing practice complies with applicable laws, professional standards, and hospital policies.
- Maintain required nursing records and reports.
- Ensure appropriate professional registration/licensing of nursing personnel.
- Emergency Management
- Coordinate nursing services during emergencies, disasters, mass-casualty situations, and critical incidents.
- Ensure appropriate staffing and preparedness for emergency situations.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and review nursing-related reports and statistics.
- Monitor staffing requirements, patient-care indicators, incidents, and quality measures.
- Submit regular reports to hospital management.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
