Job Title: Hardware Engineer
Location: Bengaluru (Work from Office)
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 4+ years
Qualification: B.Tech from Tier 1 Institute (IIT, NIT, BITS Pilani, or equivalent) – Mandatory

About Us

We are building the first precision health platform for pets—a sensor-driven, AI-powered ecosystem that decodes the daily health signals dogs give off. Our flagship product, EverBowl, is a clinical-grade device that tracks hydration, intake, body temperature, eating behavior, and bite sounds to generate a daily wellness score. Paired with our app and Protect+ insurance-rewards membership, we help pet parents move from guesswork to clarity.

We are not building another pet gadget. We need hardware that reads the same signal reliably, meal after meal, for years—safe, stable, and manufacturable at scale. That is the problem this role exists to solve.

The Role

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to design and validate the electrical and mechanical systems behind our connected devices. You will work closely with firmware and industrial design to take products from schematic to a reliable, mass-manufactured device.

What You Will Do

- Design and validate schematics and PCB layouts for sensor-driven consumer hardware, including power, battery charging, and signal integrity
- Select and integrate sensors—thermal imagers, IMUs, cameras—ensuring correct electrical interfacing with the compute module
- Design secure battery charging paths, thermal cutoff mechanisms, and power budgets that hold up under continuous real-world use
- Design clock trees and signal paths that stay stable across crystal tolerance drift and environmental variation

- Work with contract manufacturers on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT)
- Support bring-up, debugging, and yield improvement during production runs
- Build and run test fixtures to validate hardware performance, reliability, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with firmware, industrial design, and ML teams to ensure hardware supports the sensing accuracy the product depends on

What You Bring

- B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field from a Tier 1 institute (IIT, NIT, BITS Pilani, or equivalent)
- 4+ years of hardware design experience
- Strong hands-on experience with schematic design, PCB layout, and power management circuits
- Proficiency with EDA tools (Altium, KiCad, or equivalent) and lab equipment for hardware validation
- Proven track record of taking a hardware design from prototype through DFM to mass production

Bonus Skills

- Experience with thermal imaging, IMU, or camera sensor integration
- Familiarity with battery charging ICs and safety certification requirements
- Prior experience in IoT, wearables, or connected consumer hardware

Why Join Us

- Design hardware that ends up in the hands and homes of real pet parents—not a reference board that never ships
- Own real pieces of a product taken from schematic to mass manufacturing
- Take ownership early, with a direct line to firmware, industrial design, and founding leadership
- Join a small, fast-moving team building a category-defining product

Note: Shortlisted candidates will complete a take-home assignment as part of the process.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹35,026.87 per month

Work Location: In person
