Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Payroll & Accounts Payable Executive to manage payroll processing for blue-collar employees, attendance and wage calculations, statutory registrations and compliance, accounts payable, and employee insurance activities. The candidate should have hands-on experience managing large workforces and coordinating with HR, Finance, employees, vendors, and government authorities.
Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll and Attendance
- Process monthly payroll for blue-collar and site-based employees accurately and within timelines.
- Collect, verify, and reconcile attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions, advances, and other payroll inputs.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and HR teams to resolve attendance and payroll discrepancies.
- Prepare payroll reports, salary statements, bank transfer files, payslips, and payroll-related MIS.
- Handle employee queries related to salary, deductions, attendance, overtime, and statutory contributions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records.
PF, ESI and Statutory Compliance
- Manage PF and ESI registrations for eligible employees and new joiners.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of PF and ESI contributions, challans, returns, and related records.
- Coordinate employee KYC, UAN, ESIC numbers, corrections, transfers, and claim-related requirements.
- Maintain statutory compliance records and support inspections, audits, and notices.
- Coordinate with external consultants or government authorities whenever required.
Accounts Payable
- Process vendor and service provider invoices after verification and approval.
- Check purchase orders, invoices, supporting documents, tax details, and payment approvals.
- Maintain records of outstanding invoices, vendor advances, debit notes, and payment status.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
- Support monthly AP closing and prepare payable-related reports.
Insurance and Other Responsibilities
- Maintain employee insurance records, including enrolment, deletions, renewals, and updates.
- Coordinate with insurance providers regarding employee additions, claims, documentation, and settlements.
- Maintain payroll, attendance, PF, ESI, insurance, and accounts payable trackers.
- Support audits and provide payroll, compliance, and payment records as required.
- Ensure all employee and financial information is handled confidentially.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably for blue-collar or contract employees.
- Hands-on experience with Keka HRMS, especially payroll, attendance, leave, employee records, and statutory compliance modules.
- Experience in PF and ESI registrations, monthly contributions, challans, and related compliance activities.
- Working knowledge of attendance, overtime, wage calculations, deductions, advances, and payroll reconciliation.
- Experience in accounts payable, invoice verification, and vendor payment coordination.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and payroll-related reporting.
- Basic understanding of GST and tax invoice requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, follow-up skills, and ability to meet payroll deadlines.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
