Job Summary

We are looking for a technically skilled and responsible Operation Cum Electrician / Instrumentation Technician to support the safe and efficient operation of our Cable Car / Ropeway facility at Athirappilly, Thrissur, Kerala.

The candidate will be responsible for monitoring electrical and instrumentation systems, supporting daily Cable Car operations, identifying technical abnormalities, carrying out basic troubleshooting and coordinating with the Engineering & Maintenance team to ensure protected and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the day-to-day safe operation of the Cable Car / Ropeway system.
- Monitor electrical panels, control systems, instrumentation and related equipment during operations.
- Conduct routine operational checks of electrical and instrumentation systems as per prescribed SOPs and checklists.
- Identify electrical, instrumentation and operational abnormalities and immediately report them to the concerned supervisor/engineering team.
- Carry out basic troubleshooting and corrective actions within the scope of authorization and competence.
- Assist the Mechanical, Electrical and Maintenance teams during preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Monitor operating parameters and ensure that equipment is functioning within prescribed limits.
- Ensure proper functioning of sensors, switches, indicators, alarms and other instrumentation associated with the Cable Car system.
- Assist in testing and checking electrical and instrumentation equipment before commencement of daily operations.




- Support safe start-up and shutdown procedures of the Cable Car system.
- Maintain proper records of inspections, observations, faults, breakdowns and corrective actions.
- Immediately report any abnormal sound, vibration, electrical fault, instrumentation fault or safety concern.
- Assist during emergency situations and breakdowns as directed by the Operations/Engineering Manager.
- Ensure proper isolation and safety procedures are followed before undertaking electrical or technical work.
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Coordinate with Cable Car operators and station staff regarding technical/operational issues.
- Follow all company safety procedures, SOPs and statutory requirements.
- Support the Engineering team in maintaining high standards of equipment reliability and operational safety.

Qualification Required

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or a related technical discipline.
- Candidates with relevant Cable Car / Ropeway technical experience will be preferred.

Experience Required

- 3–6 years of relevant experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, Industrial Maintenance, Cable Car/Ropeway, Amusement Park, Manufacturing or similar technical operations.
- Experience in operating or maintaining electrical control systems, instrumentation, sensors,



panels and related equipment will be an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in safety-critical technical operations will be preferred.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be technically competent, safety-conscious, disciplined and physically fit, with the ability to work in a tourism and outdoor operating environment.

The candidate must be willing to work in rotational shifts, weekends, holidays and during peak tourist seasons and should be capable of responding quickly to technical abnormalities and operational emergencies.

Experience in Cable Car / Ropeway / Amusement Park / Theme Park / Industrial Electrical & Instrumentation operations will be highly preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
