At Suncorp, we are "Powering Africa’s Progress." We are now expanding our operations and seeking a results-driven Procurement Manager—willing to relocate and be based full-time in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso—to lead our sourcing of used engine oil.
The Role & Responsibilities
As the Procurement Manager, you will head the end-to-end procurement processes, managing crucial supplier networks to support our growing production demand.
- Sourcing Strategy: Lead the strategic sourcing of used engine oil across regional markets.
- Supplier Management: Build, maintain, and navigate relationships with local and regional supplier networks.
- Cost Optimization: Secure cost-effective procurement contracts while maintaining strict quality metrics.
- Market Navigation:
Effectively manage procurement operations within fast-paced, high-pressure industrial environments.
Qualifications & Skills1. Professional Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on procurement operations within any Francophone West African country.
- Proven background in sourcing commodities, scrap, agricultural products, or industrial raw materials.
2. Location & Mobility
- Must be fully willing and able to relocate and be based full-time on-site in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
3. Language & Communication
- French: Full professional fluency is strictly required for daily local operations and negotiations.
- English or Hindi: Professional fluency in at least one of these languages is required for corporate reporting.
