Qualification: B.Tech/B.E./Diploma – Mechanical/Production/Textile/Polymer Engineering

Job Summary

Responsible for managing the overall plant operations, ensuring production targets, product quality, manpower efficiency, cost control, machine utilization, safety and timely dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complete plant operations and achieve daily/monthly production targets.
- Plan and monitor extrusion, twisting, stranding, braiding and rope-making operations.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines and raw materials.
- Monitor production, wastage, rejection, downtime and overall productivity.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Dispatch and HR teams.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and minimum machine breakdowns.
- Control manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Ensure quality standards and reduce customer complaints and rejection.
- Monitor raw material consumption and inventory requirements.




- Develop and implement SOPs, production systems and process improvements.
- Lead and motivate production staff, supervisors and operators.
- Review daily production reports, MIS and key performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with safety, 5S and statutory requirements.
- Handle production-related problems and take corrective actions.
- Plan manpower requirements, shift schedules and workforce productivity.
- Work with management to achieve plant productivity, quality and profitability targets.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of rope manufacturing processes and machinery.
- Solid leadership and team-management skills.
- Production planning and process improvement experience.
- Knowledge of ERP
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of safety, quality and 5S practices.
