About the role

We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented QA Engineer to help us ship software our users can actually rely on. You'll partner closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to catch issues early, sharpen our testing process, and make sure every release meets the bar. If you're comfortable moving between hands-on manual testing and building out automated test scripts — and you enjoy working across web, mobile, and backend

What You'll Do

- Write and run test plans and test cases that actually cover the important stuff
- Dig into functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing
- Find bugs, document them clearly, track them through to resolution, and verify the fix
- Work with developers and product owners to really understand requirements and acceptance criteria — not just check boxes
- Build and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing
- Validate REST APIs using Postman or similar tools




- Handle cross-browser and cross-device testing
- Run performance and load tests when the situation calls for it
- Help wire automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines

What You Bring

- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 3+ years working as a QA or Software Test Engineer
- A solid grip on testing principles and the SDLC/STLC
- Hands-on experience manually testing web and mobile apps
- Experience with an automation framework — Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Comfort testing REST APIs with Postman, Swagger, or similar
- Working SQL knowledge for validating data at the database level
- Experience with Jira or a similar bug tracker
- Familiarity with Git and version control

Soft Skills & Additional Requirements

- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication to collaborate effectively across distributed international teams.
- Mobility: Must hold a valid passport and be flexible to travel to Sharjah, UAE, as needed based on business requirements.
