Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester Intern to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. You will work closely with development and product teams to test new software, find bugs, and ensure our systems run smoothly. - Test Execution: Perform manual functional, regression, sanity, and integration testing on web and mobile applications.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, log, and track software defects and inconsistencies using tools like Jira or Trello.
- Test Documentation: Help draft, update, and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and user acceptance criteria.
- Automation Support: Assist senior QA engineers in writing and running automated test scripts where applicable.
- Collaboration: Partner with software developers to verify bug fixes and understand product requirements.
- User Experience Feedback: Provide feedback on application usability, performance,



and overall user experience.

Qualifications and Skills

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, or a related field.
- Solid logical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with different testing methodologies (e.g., Black Box testing, White Box testing).
- Excellent written communication skills for writing clear, concise bug reports.
- High attention to detail with a passion for finding flaws in software.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Exposure to automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) or API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- Understanding of database concepts and basic SQL queries.
