Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field
Key Responsibilities:
- Review customer enquiries, technical specifications, datasheets, P&IDs;, GA drawings, and tender documents.
- Prepare techno-commercial offers/quotations for industrial valves and related products.
- Select suitable valve types, materials, pressure classes, trims, and actuators based on customer requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and procurement teams for technical clarifications.
- Prepare cost sheets and ensure quotations comply with customer specifications and company standards.
- Follow up with customers on submitted quotations and provide technical clarifications.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed purchase orders by maintaining regular customer communication.
- Track enquiry status and maintain a healthy enquiry-to-order conversion ratio.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, tender submissions,
and post-bid clarifications.
- Prepare and submit technical documents required during the bidding process.
- Coordinate with the field sales team to identify new business opportunities and support business development.
- Maintain records of enquiries, quotations, tenders, and order status in the ERP/CRM system.
- Ensure timely submission of quotations within customer deadlines.
- Support contract review after receipt of purchase orders to ensure complete technical compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, EPC contractors, and end users.
