Role overview

We are looking for an SDE to join our engineering team and take ownership of building scalable, high-quality software across the stack. This role is ideal for someone who has already shipped real products, can independently own features end-to-end, and is comfortable working closely with product, design, and engineering teams. You will be expected to go beyond writing code; you should be able to understand product requirements, make sound technical decisions, contribute to architecture discussions, and build with strong attention to user experience and design quality. We are looking for someone who has strong engineering fundamentals, good product thinking, and the ability to move fast while maintaining quality.

Key responsibilities

● Build, own, and ship features across the frontend using React / Next.js and the backend using Node.js

● Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and production-grade TypeScript code

● Design and build REST APIs, work with databases such as MongoDB,



and contribute to cloud deployment workflows

● Take ownership of features from requirement understanding and technical planning to development, testing, deployment, and iteration

● Debug, test, optimize, and improve existing systems for performance, reliability, and maintainability

● Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers in a fast-paced product environment

● Participate actively in code reviews and help raise the overall engineering quality of the team

● Contribute to technical discussions around architecture, trade-offs, scalability, and implementation approach

● Mentor junior engineers and support them in writing better code and making better technical decisions

● Contribute to product and UX decisions with a strong eye for detail, usability, and user-first thinking

Experience and background

● 2-5 years of experience building and shipping software products

● Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js

● Excellent working knowledge of MongoDB and backend application development

● Strong understanding of REST APIs, Git, debugging, testing, and deployment workflows

● Ability to independently own medium-to-large features end-to-end





● Solid problem-solving skills and ability to make practical technical decisions

● Good understanding of system design fundamentals, scalability, and performance considerations

● Good product sense and the ability to think from a user-first perspective

● Good design sense, attention to detail, and appreciation for clean, intuitive interfaces

● Strong ownership mindset and comfort working across the stack

● Ability to collaborate well with product, design, and engineering teams

● Bonus: Exposure to AI / LLM-based features or products

● Bonus: Experience with AWS, Docker, Redis, or CI/CD workflows

Note: This is an on-site role based out of our Bangalore office. As you'll be shipping features end-to-end alongside a small, fast-moving team, occasional extended hours around releases or deployments may be required.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
