Develop 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for sheet metal components and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Creo / NX / Fusion 360).

Design parts considering DFA/DFM, GD&T;, weight optimization, durability, and cost reduction.

Generate BOM, DXF, flat patterns, bend tables, and tolerance stack-up analysis.

Work with fabrication processes such as laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, fastening, riveting, and surface finishing.

Ensure design compatibility with manufacturing capabilities, standard sheet thickness, material grades (MS/SS/Aluminum).

Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, and prototyping.

Collaborate with production, quality, purchase, vendor, and project teams.

Modify and improve existing designs based on testing/feedback.

Maintain proper documentation, revision control, and ERP entries.

Follow relevant IS/ISO/DIN standards, safety, and compliance guidelines.
