Job Summary

The Hostel Warden will be responsible for the overall administration, discipline, safety, and well-being of resident students. The role requires close coordination with parents, faculty, and campus support staff to ensure a secure and conducive living environment. The Boys Hostel Warden will be responsible for the boys hostel and the Girls Hostel Warden will be responsible for the girls hostel, in keeping with institutional residential supervision norms.

Key Responsibilities

● Supervise day-to-day hostel operations, ensuring discipline, cleanliness, and safety

● Maintain attendance records and monitor in/out movement of resident students

● Enforce hostel rules and college code of conduct; address violations appropriately

● Handle student grievances, conflicts, and welfare concerns sensitively and promptly

● Coordinate with parents/guardians on student well-being, leave requests, and emergencies

● Oversee mess/catering quality, hygiene, and food safety in coordination with vendors

● Ensure upkeep and maintenance of hostel infrastructure; report repairs promptly





● Conduct regular room inspections and maintain hostel discipline registers

● Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with campus health services

● Organize hostel-level activities to promote student welfare and community living

● Maintain visitor logs and ensure security protocols are followed at all times

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a degree in Social Work, Education, or related field is an advantage

● Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hostel administration, student welfare, or a supervisory residential role

● Prior experience in an educational institution preferred

● Willingness to reside on campus and be available for emergencies, including after hours

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
