Job Summary

We are looking for a Tool Manager – NPD to manage new product development tooling activities and coordinate with design, production, quality, and other teams to ensure timely development and delivery of tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage tooling activities for New Product Development (NPD) projects.
- Coordinate with Tool Design, Tool Room, Production, and Quality teams.
- Plan and monitor tool development, trials, modifications, and validation.
- Review tooling requirements, drawings, specifications, and timelines.
- Ensure tools are developed and delivered as per quality and production requirements.
- Identify tooling issues and coordinate for corrective actions and improvements.
- Track project progress and ensure on-time completion of NPD tooling.
- Support tool trials, debugging, and process improvement activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and tooling records.

Requirements





- 2–5 years of experience in Tooling / Tool Room / NPD Tool Development.
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Tool & Die or related field.
- Good knowledge of tool development and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Candidates with experience in automotive / engineering / manufacturing industries will be preferred.
